Powerform Controls is a privately owned company which was formed in 1971 principally to design, manufacture and wholesale solid state speed controllers for single phase induction motors in fan and pump applications.

Over the years, Powerform has supplied fan speed controllers to the leading air conditioning and air movement organisations in Australia. Controllers are supplied also to countries in South East Asia and in Europe.

The range of single phase fan speed controllers varies from simple manually varied units to VSD controllers interfacing computer systems with fan motors, such as occurs in Building Management Systems.

In addition to fan speed controllers, Powerform designs and builds other electronic equipment for wholesalers in the medical and retailing fields.

All Powerform products are designed to comply with the applicable safety and environmental standards and as appropriate, the performance of products is verified by external testing laboratories, typically NATA certified.

Powerform’s experience and design capability is available to develop new, or modify existing, products which address the unique requirements of Customers.

Whilst maintaining the robustness and reliability of Powerform products, opportunities are sought continuously to adopt modern technologies and to identify and respond to changes in market needs.
